This Subiaco addition is designed to introduce more natural light ☀️ and connect seamlessly with the existing home, working alongside the natural materials chosen by the client. Our role is making sure the brickwork supports that vision from the ground up. 🧱
It’s early days on site, but seeing the designer’s intent start to take shape is always a rewarding part of the process. We’ve made a solid start on this one and are looking forward to returning to complete this extension as the build progresses. 🚧
This project also marks our first job with Manson Construction — a team that shares the same focus on quality, clear communication, and doing things properly from the outset.

This Coolbinia build has evolved over time, with careful attention to materials, detail, and execution at every stage — from curved feature walls using a mix of new and recycled bricks, to the plunge pool, high internal walls, and most recently, the final brickwork to the exterior. 🧱
It’s been a project we’ve thoroughly enjoyed working on, and one where the level of finish has sparked more than a few double-takes — even prompting questions about whether the feature walls are real brick. A reminder of what careful planning, precision, and a strong team can achieve.
